We are a community collective based in Whatcom County that loves moving with the water.

The Drift is our newsletter.

“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”

— Rumi

Our mission is to create a community that reconnects people with their bodies, each other, and the natural world through the innate wisdom of water. We gather in wild swims, movement practices, and seasonal rituals to cultivate presence, resilience, and belonging.

We do what we love

Cold plunge

Awaken your body, calm your mind.
Immersion in cold, natural water that reconnect you to the present moment. Each plunge is a shared ritual of breath, resilience, and renewal—an invitation to meet yourself in the elements.

Open water

Awaken your body, calm your mind.
Open water swims that celebrate endurance, curiosity, and communion with the landscape. From coastal crossings to island loops, these are swims done not for speed but for connection—to water, to self, and to the wild around us.

Bring the heat!

Bellingham is rich in wild water but we are missing public warmth. Wild Swim Club is helping change that by advocating for accessible, community-based sauna spaces.

“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”

— A. A. Milne

Let’s meet up in real life to share in the magic of the water. Drop in for a community event and find yourself in the water.
